A global citizen born in Germany with an English mother and an American father, I found myself connected to the Australian way of life and am now travelling the world! I am an outdoor adventurer and early childhood educator with experience in children’s yoga teaching, Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga. With a love for the mountain lifestyle I find a satisfying unity between yoga and the adrenaline adventure activities.
I taught adult yoga classes for two years during my time at Santé Holistic Health Centre in the creative town of Nelson, BC Canada, followed by a year of teaching at Elk Wellbeing Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Whilst in Melbourne, I also taught corporate yoga classes for the employees of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry. I have supported children to explore yoga movement, breath and meditation by facilitating kids yoga classes and workshops. During the pandemic I filmed my yoga lessons for the Mandala Tree Online Studio. This variety of opportunities have taught me so much about the versatility of this practice and how everyone can benefit from yoga in their own way.
I have been practicing yoga since 2009, beginning with traditional Hatha, then focusing on alignment with Iyengar yoga for three years before really finding my own flow through a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa. Yoga has been a tool for me to find a deeper connection to myself and to find a sense of calm and peace in busy day to day life. Yoga has assisted me to overcome anxiety, which was caused from having to cope with a handful of unexpected, unforeseen challenges that life threw in my direction.
After overcoming these obstacles I was inspired to take my practice further and to travel to the home of yoga in order to study this ancient practice and to be able to share my newfound knowledge and skills with others. I completed my yoga teacher training in the Himalayan mountain town of McLeod Ganj in India at Chandra International Yoga School. There I was able to fully submerge myself into the wholesome and enriching program studying asana, pranayama, meditation, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy and ethics and teacher methodology. I also studied Reiki I and was introduced into traditional Ayurvedic health and nutrition.
Teaching has offered me the opportunity to share and contribute my knowledge and experiences. I invite my students to deepen their own practice and I also share traditional teachings from India by incorporating the philosophy, pranayama and anatomy into the class.
I look forward to furthering my own knowledge and teaching experience through the interactions and experiences shared with each of my students.
Namaste!

Hatha / Vinyasa Flow
This class consists of a blend of traditional Hatha yoga asanas with sequencing, creating dynamic combinations of poses. The class begins with a peaceful relaxation asana, or series of asanas, inviting the student to draw their attention inwards, tuning into the breath and the opportunity to practice some pranayama (breathing) techniques. Warm up stretches and movements ease the body and mind into the practice and the class builds up to incorporate sun and moon salutations, varying warrior sequences, balancing asanas, and inversions. The students are guided and supported to develop their strength, flexibility, focus and confidence, offering opportunities to move into the unknown.
Recommended for students who have some previous yoga experience.
Hatha / Slow Flow
This class consists of a blend of Hatha yoga asanas that is slow paced and offers a gentle more restorative yoga practice. The class incorporates pranayama (breathing) techniques that encourage students to draw their attention inwards. Bolsters, blankets and blocks are often used to support certain asanas, allowing the student more release. A slow flow of a sun or moon salutation is often included to invite fluid movements into the practice. Time is spent in each asana to focus on alignment. This practice offers students the opportunity to develop patience, focus, flexibility, coordination and to develop the ability to let go.
Recommended for beginner students and those who wish to have more gentle practice.
